Climate
The Netherlands enjoys a moderate (or oceanic) climate which generally features mild winters and cool summers. The coastal regions have more hours of sunshine than inland regions and a relatively small annual and diurnal temperature range. The warmest months fall between June and September with temperatures ranging from 15-24 °C. Mean winter temperatures are about 3°C. And last but not least, The Netherlands is famous for its beautiful cloudscapes captured by many world-famous Dutch painters like, for example, Johannes Vermeer.
